Reaching stars, moons, and galaxies
I Remember it was the summer senior year after highschool, and I had just attended YC's AI startup school, which I would say as cliche as it was, it was a pretty pivotal experience, in the sense that it made me realize that I wanted chase and do something bigger, something more ambitious than myself. It's so interesting to see the definition of "intelligent density" all in one place. Not sure if it was just for the resume drive and build, or something more to keep "chasing" so to say. Nonetheless, I achieved a point where I just wanted a big-tech internship, and told myself we're doing it this summer.
Your journey, network, and drive is in your hands. Find it.
The journey so far
This recruiting season was one of the best learning experiences. I always thought that recruiting was an iterative experience where you just keep applying and you eventually get an offer. But it's so much more than that. You're iterating, learning new strategies, and you finally learn how the game works.
I feel like this specific season, I finally cracked the code of how to unlock the door so to say, and I'm so grateful for that. I can't believe I got what I wanted, from a whim on a drive I set for myself.
Prospective Thoughts
I think where I'm set to for this summer, is a great stepping stone to what I want to do in the future, which is R&D. I think this is the most bullish path in tech and software in general, and I'm excited to see where this takes me. I feel like this is a passion that I want to deeply explore, and been trying to get a step on.
